1203-TY is classified as CS type retaining ring for shaft, which is one of the external retaining rings.
It is known as CS self-locking push-on nut and manufactured in American ASME/ANSI standard.
TY ring can be installed without groove, and it fits shaft diameter (Ds) from 0.094 inches (2.39mm) to 1 inch (25.4mm).
