1013-HO is classified as C type retaining ring for bores, which is one of the internal retaining rings. It is known as R type circlip and manufactured in American ASME/ANSI standard. It is tapered section and axially installed as known as thrust direction mounted.
HO ring is easy to install and dismount, and it is often used for the higher thrust load. HO ring fits the housing and bores diameter (Dh) from 0.25 inches (6.4mm) to 10 inches (254mm). And HO ring is installed by drawing the lugs with special pilers. HO ring is widely used in valve cast assmebly, steering rack housing, fuel rail assembly, rotary union, piston, wheel bearing protector, air compressor and the bear of jump rope.
